But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me. (1 Corinthians 15:10)
Who Am I?
That’s a good question, and everyone should ask that of themselves from time-to-time. It is a question of self-examination and reflection.
I am a very simple guy born and raised as product of the proud state of Texas. I’m a graduate of Howard Payne University where I acquired a BA in Psychology. Since 2007 I have resided in Georgia, just North of Atlanta, and worked as a developer and in management roles in the accounting/finance and telecommunication industries.
I know who I am. I know what I have become, and while I am not proud of everything I have ever done in this life I know the joy of forgiveness and acceptance through a humble and broken heart. I am reminded each day to not let the past define me, but to never forget the lessons they taught.
God of my hope, God of my need
God of my pain that no one else will ever see
God of my healing, God of my strength
God who has always and will forever reign
God of my everything
Don’t let my thoughts deter you from what you already know to be the truth, but share and I will with you.
